EasyHardConvos (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates easyhardconvos.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it. By using our service, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name.
Conversation data
We store the text content of your AI practice sessions so you can access your history, track progress, and resume past scenarios. This data is private to you by default.
Usage metadata
We collect session metadata such as session duration, topic categories, and timestamps to improve the product experience and to provide your usage statistics.
Payment information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, card verification codes, or bank account information on our servers. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your account.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and operate the EasyHardConvos service
- To allow you to save, resume, and review your practice sessions
- To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe
- To send transactional emails (e.g., account confirmation, billing receipts)
- To improve the product through aggregate, anonymized usage analytics
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your conversation content to train AI models.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate EasyHardConvos:
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management. Stripe’s privacy policy governs data they receive.
- Anthropic — powers the AI coaching functionality. Conversation messages are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate responses. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models per their usage policy.
We do not share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and conversation data for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual sessions or your entire history at any time from your account settings. Account deletion removes all associated personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records).
5. Cookies
We use cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so will prevent you from staying logged in.
6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)
If you are in the EU/UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the following rights:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion — request erasure of your personal data
- Portability — request an export of your data in a common format
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests

7. Data Security

8. Children
EasyHardConvos is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
